Men’s Group

Preamble:

The Men’s Ministry of Word Of Life Gospel Church (WOLGC) was born out of the desire to bring together all men in the Ministry around a common purpose: “ The realization that we are made in the image and likeness of God, and that God has given us a mandate: this is clear in 1 Corinthians 11:3 “But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. This scripture depicts Apostle Paul’s admonition to the Church of Corinth, in which he tries to explain the Spiritual Order of Gods Family; The Church. In today’s world, there has been the tendency for the Body of Christ to compromise the word of God to conform to the dictates of the World. God’s word is clear about where the Church stands in this direction: Romans 12:2 “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God”. In the family of God, it becomes then a sin if not a treasonable crime for men not to take their rightful place in the kingdom: In 1 Corinthians11:7 “For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man”. It is this belief and foundation that forms the bedrock of the formation of the Men’s Ministry of Word of Life Gospel Church.

Our Motto:

“Watch and Pray” During his final moment with the disciples before the humiliation and crucifixion of our Master Jesus the Christ, he admonished the men that he took with him for some support, Matthew 26:41: “Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak”. Men ought to be watchful and prayerful in the Body of Christ.
